A trio has been apprehended by the relevant police authorities in relation to the shooting tragedy that occurred to three Floridians off for some fishing.

The motif for the shooting, so far as reports go as of now, points to the fact that one of the shooters had an altercation with the victims at a store before the incident actually took place.

Tony “TJ” Wiggins, 26, has been arrested on suspicion of shooting and killing the three men near a lake in the central Florida community of Frostproof on Friday night, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said. His girlfriend, Mary Whittemore, 27, and his brother, William “Robert” Wiggins, 21, have been arrested on charges of accessory after the fact of a capital felony.

TJ Wiggins is being held on charges of first-degree murder; tampering with evidence; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, the sheriff’s office said.point 316 |

According to the sheriff’s office, TJ Wiggins’ criminal history includes prior felony convictions.point 98 | He has served two prison sentences in Florida for charges of burglary and grand theft, according to Florida prison records.point 202 | 1

He was recently arrested in March 2020 for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and was released on bond, the sheriff’s office said.point 291 |
