It was announced recently that the extremely popular video game The Last of Us is going to be made into a movie.

The show is going to be written and co-produced by Craig Mazin. Yes, he is the same man who brought out a mega-blockbuster last year, Chernobyl.

Now, the fiddle is making people curious about who is going to be cast in the movie.

If you are the one who has no idea what the story of this video game set in a post-apocalyptic world. The game focuses on a young girl whose name is Ellie who is probably the cure of a global pandemic that is making the US a survivor with people struggling to live.

She shares a relationship with Joel who is a survivor and is tasked with keeping Ellie safe from the quarantine zone which is very dangerous.

Well, these two characters are going to be the center pieces of the show and the fans who are bothered and excited enough by the announcement have started posting about how they would want to see Maisie Williams as Ellie and Hugh Jackman as Joel in the show.

Oh, the name of these two stars already states how massively expensive the show can turn out to be but HBO can do it right?

In the past several years, HBO has given out some of the most amazing originals and have made enough to invest in one more.

Well, coming back to the characters, Maisie Williams had already shown her interest in being a part of it years ago in 2014 when she and Neil Druckmann were seen having a conversation, regarding the same.

To others, Hugh Jackman is another great option for people who have seen Joel in the video game.
