Babies born prematurely face a lot of hurdles to cross, as they are at high risk for many medical complications.
But, these babies fight for their lives – with the help of the entire hospital staff, and the encouragement from the families.
And words can not adequately describe the unbelievable transformations of these premature babies once they get out of the hospital.
One photographer from Quebec actually decided to let the others know about this magical journey via his camera, after seeing both of his children growing up.

“My son was born at 29 weeks and my daughter at 33 weeks. These are the kind of pictures I would like to have seen when my first child was born – they’ve been through that, and they are great now,” said Red in his interview with Upworthy.
A photographer named Red Methot is the one who recorded the before-and-after images of premature babies after they got out from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
As you can see, various people of different ages pose with photos of themselves when they were still struggling for their lives.
Most of the photos show babies still in the hospital ICU.
These photos are simply amazing – you have to check it out to witness the amazing power of life.
