The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in several countries imposing a lockdown, where people are barred from going out of their homes until extremely necessary.
In such a period, technology is playing a crucial role in keeping people occupied. Moreover, because of technology, people all over the world are more connected to each other as well as their family members living in different cities and countries.
However, not everyone is tech-savvy and for some, using it can be challenging, and for this Italian priest, this holds true. The priest’s live stream tells that he is yet to understand a few things about technology.
In this footage, the priest positions his smartphone by the alter and steps back and as he is ready to share religious lines in these fearful and uncertain times, an alien robot helmet appears on this head.
This is because he unknowingly activated face filters on his phone and even before he could utter a word, the fancy headgear dons his head.
However, he proceeded with the sermon as virtual arms were lifting weights before him, as well as sunglasses and hat complemented his gown.
While the utilization of the filters was certainly an error, it did mean his sermon actually ended up reaching a huge number of people, as the clip gained more than 1.6 million views on Twitter.
This footage was shared by Gavin Shoebridge who added that in Italy, a priest live-streamed a mess because of the coronavirus but unfortunately, he turned on video filters by mistake.
However, this did not stop people from appreciating the effort of the priest. Users also commented on how this mistake made them laugh and smile so much that their throats hurt.
