As Prince Charles opened the NHS Nightingale Hospital in London for coronavirus patients, he also gave royal fans an inside look at his office in Birkhall where he is in self-quarantine due to being positive for COVID-19.
Aside from the expected family photos, it also contains priceless antiques and personal favorites of the prince. Here’s a short look at what he has:
1 – His own book
Charles released Harmony: A New Way of Looking at the World in 2010 as a “practical guide to what we have lost in the modern world.”
2 – A picture of the Queen
This picture of the Queen as a baby was taken by photographer Marcus Adams in 1927 when the then Princess Elizabeth was a year old.
3 – The requisite family pic
This family pic is of Prince Louis’ christening in July 2018 featuring Prince William, Kate Middleton, their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the rear with Camilla.
4 – A photo of Princess Anne
Charles’ “favorite” sibling is Princess Anne and this photo shows a six-year-old Charles with a four-year-old Anne.
5 – Father and sons
At the center of the piano is a 2018 picture of Prince Charles with sons William and Harry during the RAF’s 100th anniversary.
6 – Proud granddaddy
This photo shows Charles holding his youngest grandchild Archie Harrison.
7 – A special niece
Charles has a special bond with his niece Zara Tindall. Royal expert Rob Jobson said: “Charles is closest to his sister Anne of all his siblings and has always been very supportive and affectionate towards his niece.”
8 – Camilla on his mind
The ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a pic of Prince Charles’ wedding Camilla in 2005.
9 – Mom and Aunt Margaret
This 1940 photo shows a Princess Elizabeth who had just turned 14 with younger sister Margaret.
If anything, it shows that the Prince is just like any family man who would want to have keepsakes of those he loves close to him.
