Billionaire Jeff Bezos flew out with his girlfriend on the eve of the Cop 26 Summit to meet Prince Charles in the United Kingdom and discuss climate change.
Recent images of the ‘secret’ meeting have now surfaced online, which feature Bezos meeting with royalty at a Scottish mansion. The trio appeared to be smiling and laughing over a cup of tea, right before the mega-conference.
The meeting reportedly took place on Sunday during the late hours of the evening with the location being somewhere near Glasgow, reports confirmed.
Meanwhile, a recent post on Instagram showed the duo discussing the task to fight climate change, just ahead of the big event.
Bezos jetted off to Scotland in his own private jet which is reported to be worth an estimated $65 million.
The timing of the meeting comes just two days after the billionaire CEO of Amazon was pictured in Turkey, alongside his dear friend and fellow billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
Gates celebrated his 66th birthday in absolute grandeur style, inviting Bezos and a number of other close pals. The grand celebration was held on a private yacht in Turkey, after which Gates flew guests to a renowned private club. There, they wined and dined on delicious delicacies while partying the night away.
Meanwhile, during the meeting with Prince Charles, Bezos and girlfriend Sanchez were seen gracefully seated in plush blue Chippendale armchairs. They were surrounded by stellar ornate portraits. The setting appeared to be a lavish and grand dining room of a country-themed home.
The Prince of Wales is very busy and involved in taking adequate measures to help fight climate change. He hopes to protect the beautiful world, as he’s been renowned to do so, continuing with his efforts that initially began five years ago.
Bezos posted a picture of the meeting on his social media account, adding how proud he was of Charles and his efforts at healing the world. Similarly, he spoke about how keen he and his foundation were to work by his side in searching for solutions to fight climate change.
Therefore, many critics are eager to see what this new partnership brings forward in terms of betterment for the world.
