Prince Harry has reportedly told his friends he misses the Army and feels his life has been “turned upside down”.
He also said that he “cannot believe” how much life has changed since stepping down as senior royals.
A source told The Daily Telegraph Prince Harry, who spent years in the Army and was known as “Captain Wales”, told friends he is missing being in the Army and he was in a happy place while serving in the Army.
The source told: “Harry has told friends he is really missing the Army as well his military appointments. He misses the camaraderie of being in the forces.”
“He has been telling friends that he still can’t believe this has happened. He can’t believe his life has been turned upside down.”
He said life has changed after meeting Meghan and stepping down as senior royals but he doesn’t blame Meghan for all this.
He just never expected things to turn out as they did.
The source added: “But I don’t think he foresaw things turning out quite as they did. Of course, he doesn’t blame Meghan. There is just a sense that he might have been better protected if he was still in the Army.”
Prince Harry was forced to give up his military roles after he and Meghan decided to quit as senior royals.
When he was in the Army, Prince Harry underwent two operational tours of Afghanistan and qualified as an Apache helicopter commander.
In 2017, the 35-year-old was made Captain General of the Royal Marines.
After stepping down as senior royals, the Queen canceled his military appointments.
But, Prince Harry is now missing ‘the camaraderie of the Armed Forces life’. He was happy while serving in the Army but his life has now totally changed after stepping down as senior royals.
