New and exclusive reports from local media outlets have reportedly revealed how Prince Harry slept through several phone calls that intended to alert him about his grandfather’s death in April.
Inside sources spoke about how Harry will not be putting his phone on silent again, anytime soon, after this shocking incident.
The 36-year-old Duke of Sussex had slept through all the calls that his grandad Prince Philip had passed away in the month of April, as reported by TMZ this Friday.
One representative from the American embassy mentioned how he dialed the Prince’s phone number, just before the hours of 3 am in the night, which was California time. And that was so he could inform him about the tragic discovery that had just taken place. However, surprisingly, the call went unanswered, as reported by the outlet.
Finally, contact was made between the embassy representative and Prince Harry but not so easily or directly. The representative managed to get through the Sheriff’s Department in Santa Barbara. The prince lives with his wife Meghan and son Archie in an exclusive community in Montecito.
Hence, the representative requested the officer to make the Prince call him back.
Therefore, the Sheriff’s department then went about compiling a list and then reportedly sent out an officer towards the royal couple’s mega $14.7 million private estates, just to inform Harry to call up the Embassy immediately as something urgent had come up.
Prince Philip died at the age of 99 on the 9th of April at Windsor Castle in the UK. At that time, it was 11 am, England state time when the Royal Family managed to get in touch with Harry finally.
Ultimately, Harry had traveled back towards his residence in the UK to attend his grandfather’s funeral. However, he recently revealed how he was scared to travel back and make his trip, due to the recent controversies that had taken place, triggering plenty of past traumas too.
