Princess Charlotte who turned five on May 2 has always been a center of attention.
From her cheeky comment to the photographer outside Prince Louis’s christening to her cute antics, she is an ideal fit for the category of the funniest rebellious royal.
Recently, a royal photographer Samir Hussein revealed the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton is a ‘real character.’ He told Us Weekly, “Princess Charlotte did [have] some great pictures over the years. Just some great spontaneous moments.”
The photographer has captured several royal engagements, births, wedding and he was the one behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s iconic rain photo.
“She seems to be, like, a real character,” he told Us Weekly, noting that Charlotte’s big brother, Prince George, is one as well. I think that’s the thing with kids, you just don’t know what you’re going to get and that makes it really fun to photograph.”
Hussein said he has witnessed George who is now six having a “meltdown” when he was younger. “At the end of the day they’re just kids, and you can’t necessarily ask them to behave in a certain way because it [makes for] some really good spontaneous images,” he added.
“I really love shooting the royal children when I get the opportunity.” Hussein also revealed that he loves The Duchess of Cambridge’s photography skills.
“You can see from the pictures she takes that she’s better, certainly better than your average person on the streets,” he said. “She’s got a good eye, and she’s a good photographer. I’m impressed by her pictures, absolutely.”
Kensington Royal Instagram account captioned the post: “Thank you for all your lovely messages on Princess Charlotte’s fifth birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte, taken by The Duchess this April.”
Kate, 38, recently clicked her daughter Charlotte’s pictures and released them on her fifth birthday. In April, the Duchess captured her son Louis flaunting his rainbow-painted hands on his second birthday.
