Princess Charlotte loves the horse and wants a pony for Christmas, according to new reports.
She is ‘obsessed with horses’ just like the Queen, 93, who is often seen riding.
But, her father Prince William, 37, is reportedly not comfortable about giving his daughter a pony, because she is too young.
Meanwhile, Charlotte’s older brother George, 6, has reportedly developed an interest in sports and wants a new tennis racket and football table for Christmas.
A source told Closer magazine: ‘Charlotte takes after Queen Elizabeth and is obsessed with horses.
‘She’s asked for a pony, but might have to wait until next year because William thinks she’s too young.’
‘George is really into tennis and has asked for a new racket and a football table.
‘They’ll both be receiving children’s cookery sets because they love making a mess in the kitchen!’
Earlier this year, Kate shared that George and Charlotte sometimes cook cheesy pasta for her. “One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.”
When the Queen was 4 years old, she received a Shetland pony called Peggy. She begins riding when she was six.
The monarch is passionate about the races, having earned a staggering amount of money in winnings from her horses over the last 31 years.
The Royal has won 534 races from 3205 runs in both flat and jump races in Ireland and the UK, their first winning as an owner was with her horse Choir Boy in 1953 Royal Hunt Cup. It was a record year in 2016 for the Queen’s winnings.
Princess Charlotte is following her grandmother’s footsteps, as she has the same obsession. It must run in the family!
