Princess Mako, who left her royal life to marry her university sweetheart, is all set to start her married life in NYC and recently spotted leaving Tokyo’s Haneda international airport like a casual couple, with media all around them.
Princess Mako is the eldest daughter of the recent Crown Prince Fumihito. The niece of reigning Emperor Naruhito got married to a commoner in October, after her eight-year engagement with him, and faced criticism. The couple is moving to New York; Mako’s husband works as a lawyer in New Jersey.
Recently the couple was spotted at the airport wearing casual outfits and white facemasks, pulling suitcases behind them. The Former Japanese princess Mako was wearing a navy blue jumper with button detail and plain wide-legged trousers. Kei Komuro was spotted in a knitted green cardigan and navy corduroy trousers.
Kei Komuro has failed the New York State Bar Association exam recently. He took the exam this year in summer as well but was not included in the successful candidates. He has planned to retake the exam next year in February. His wife, former princess Mako has decided to support her husband’s studies.
