Prom is a truly magical night, one last party with all of your high school classmates before you all begin your lives as adults.
For many women, it’s finally a chance for them to wear a stunningly beautiful dress to impress everyone. The dress can really make or break an amazing prom night.

It was a nightmare for Tayja. Her photos finally went viral, but for the worst possible reason and now she was receiving hundreds of vile comments insulting her looks and her body. Tayja told Fox 29‘s Shawnette Wilson about her experience reading through the comments.
“There were just like so many rude remarks and negative comments about how I looked. People I didn’t know just like, ‘That dress is not for her, she looks like a fat something.’ It was just really hurtful because I was so confident the day before and it just changed my view of myself.”

It’s hard to believe that there would be people so evil as to mock a teenage girl for wearing a prom dress.point 303 |

Tayja’s mother began to worry as Tayja began to show signs of depression.
She was just really depressed and sad. She doesn’t want to go out the house. She doesn’t want to go to school. She doesn’t want to go nowhere

Fortunately, there was hope for Tayja as people began to flood the comments with love and support for Tayja and her beautiful dress. People were finally standing up to the bullies and giving Tayja the support she so desperately needed. Tayja read one touching comment out loud.

A mindset we here at SmallJoys wish more people had. We should be supporting each other as we will never know when will need the help from others. Our hearts are with Tayja as she recovers from this awful treatment. No one deserves to be treated this way.
