As Boris Johnson requested a suspension of Parliament to The Queens, acting on the same The Queesn has agreed to his request.
Today the Queen of England had a meeting with Privy Council at Balmoral, after which she decided to give green signal for discontinuing parliament from any date she picks starting from September to October 14.
In a letter Prime Minister Boris Johnson has written to all the MPs who are entitled to attend the House of Commons, he has stated that he had plans of asking The Queen for suspension of parliament in the first week of the month of September.
The decision made by Johnson has attracted several eyes and this is why his critics are taking the podium to speak out as they say that the only motive behind the move was to restrict MPs from being able to block a No Deal Brexit.
Speaking on the same The Prime Minister said that it is completely false, that he was in any way trying to steal the power from parliament to debate and block his plans for Brexit by cutting down its operative time.
In his letter to the MPs, he wrote, “We have to keep moving forward as we cannot waste time. There is no reason to worry about as we will get enough time to debate on both sides of the summit about Brexit, and all the other subjects.
John Bercow, the Speaker of the House of Commons said that no matter what they cover it up in the reason to sustain is to give MPs no time to discuss about Brexit and investing their time in their duty in facilitating the country.
After the news of sustaining the parliament came out, a petition was soon filed to stop Boris from implementing his plans. The petition gained 100,000 soon enough. This petition has ensured a hold on the decision and a call for debate.
