It came to our notice that a pub has banned a few outfits that showed off the bare ankles of men.
Along with that, the club has also banned men from wearing grey tracksuits.
They came out with this decision in order to defend the accusation of snobbishness.
A boozer in Leith, Edinburgh named it as ‘old skool’. He also said that the pub has got the actual idea of partying.
The pub is very famous as it has also won the Pub of the Year award in the last two years. The establishment of this pub is quite trendy and has recently raised an issue.
The pub had inserted a sign in its window and alarmed men for not wearing grey tracksuits or coming bare ankles.
The men coming in grey outfits from head to toe are strictly prohibited from entering the gym. The pub has also looked forward to putting a ban on flip-flops.
The signboards are quite expressive and have named the grey outfit men as ‘jobby catchers’.
The other man on the signboard with a leather jacket and bare ankles have been termed as ‘fashion faux pas’. There were various reactions to the new rules invented by the pub.
However, some of them really appreciated the ban and termed it as appropriate. People started saying to the non-supporters that it is their pub and the pub can have its own rules.
Whereas some said that the rules must apply to the females also. Some people also reacted and said that even after men not coming in bare ankles, lassies are allowed to strut half-naked and still look classy.
Whatever the overall reactions must have been, the result are stringer and people are really supporting the new rules that have been invented.
