The game of sound has always been beyond my understanding.
It amazes me every time.
I was amazed by the fact that Massive sent people to Chernobyl just to record the sound of silence for The Division 2. And here is another one as 343 Industries brought in a cute little Pug to produce sounds of an alien for Halo Infinite.
The studio that is working on building a new game called the Halo Infinite game brought Gyoza (who is a pug) in the studio as they will record his huff and puff sounds. You can also check it out on a video shared by the studios on their Instagram page.
While the little actor is doing an incredible job, you will have to listen very closely to find out how his sound is slightly incredible and too bold for his little size that only looks adorable.
We don’t know yet what is the name of the character of the alien that the voice is being recorded for but we are sure it is going to be a great part.
Although we assume the breathing and the huffing puffing sounds are for the background of the game as the character moves in the game the sounds are necessary and the artificial sounds do not always do justice.
If you see that the pug is being used here for an alien’s voice over you will not really be surprised. The little dogs are always in their own zone and are hardly ever indulged in a dog-like-activity.
They are always running around the house or will stay in a corner chewing on their favorite. Whatever they are, they are no less than a bundle of joy that is defiantly alien to this world.
