Pugs are also courageous and won’t hesitate to wander off when they become bored. It’s important for them to have a “leader” figure that they can follow.

With a lifespan that averages between 10 to 14 years, pugs can give you many years of happiness and mischief. But despite any head-scratching moments, it’ll be all worth it. While they may be loyal, they can also be jealous, like little children who are always craving for attention.

But it’s hard not to notice this cute creature with its wrinkly face and large marble-like dark eyes. That’s if they’re awake. This breed likes to sleep a lot, sometimes even up to 14 hours a day! However, they can be quite voracious, requiring three meals a day in order to stay in optimal health.

As you will notice, pugs are not furniture that you can keep in a corner or just store in the closet when you don’t feel like playing with them. They are living creatures who require proper care and attention. This doesn’t just mean feeding them but also taking them to regular check-ups with the veterinarian.
