Recently, an animal rescue YouTube channel “Animal Rescue D&C” has made headlines with a video of rescuing puppies that were tied and dragged from the back of a motorcycle.
The puppies did not even resist; they looked exhausted and almost looked as if they have given up their lives.
In the video, the man who appeared to be the owner of the puppies did not seem to care about the health of the puppies. The little creatures were literally hanging behind the motorcycle, and he was driving on the road at a high speed. The rescuers kept following him asking, “Why are you doing this to the puppies?”, but the owner went on neglecting the questions and kept driving.
However, the rescuer did not give up. He persistently tried to negotiate with the owner, and eventually, the owner responded, but with disapproval. For a long time, they argued and when the rescuer was convinced that he couldn’t resolve this situation through a normal conversation, he offered a bill as a last resort.
At first, the owner rejected the rescue worker’s suggestion. However, as the rescuer took out another bill, the owner immediately released the puppies and left.
The released three little ones looked starved to death as they looked smaller than the normal sizes of the puppies. As soon as the rescuers provided them food, they instantly devoured in just a few seconds. Fortunately, no serious injuries were found, but still, they were malnourished.
The rescued puppies will stay at the rescue worker’s place for a while and planned to be sent for adoption. As a new environment is very important, the rescue team has addressed that they would be very careful in making decisions.
People who watched the video reacted, “This is horrible! How can you treat those little puppies like that?” and “How hard it must have been for the puppies! I hope they meet a good adopter.”
