A husky pup has gone viral after her owner revealed that she was the one that selected a kitten to adopt during their shelter visit.
As Texas-based Christina revealed in an interview with The Dodo, her Tamaskan husky named Raven desperately wanted a brother or a sister to grow up old with.
And so, Christina decided to adopt another pet from a local shelter. However, she didn’t do it herself as she knew it was best to let Raven decide who her companion will be.
After arriving at the Lubbock shelter with a clear goal in mind, the kittens didn’t pay much attention to the pup except for one.
Woodhouse the kitten quickly bonded with Raven and mum Christina knew who she and the pup are taking home with them without a doubt.
“I had always wanted a dog and a cat to grow up together. It’s been like a life goal. I wanted them to be able to get along well. So I wanted her to actually meet the cat and have the cat get along with the dog as well,” Christina told The Dodo.
“They are perfect with each other. They don’t cuddle as much as they used to when they were a puppy and kitten. But they’re still always together, always playing together.”
As Christina explained, the two unusual friends love spending time with one another and have no problem sharing food and giving each other a bath.
