11-Week-Old Puppy Stolen From Home Of ER Nurse Working With Coronavirus Patients


An 11-week-old puppy was stolen from a home in Southern California while the owner, an ER nurse, was working with coronavirus patients.

According to the Concord Police Department, the Malinois puppy named Max was taken from the garage of the owner’s home on Montgomery Avenue around 10 am.

“This is Max. He is an 11-week-old Malinois puppy. Today, around 10:00 am, Max was stolen from the garage of his owners’ house on Montgomery Ave,” the police department wrote on Facebook.

Surveillance video, which was shared on Facebook, shows an unidentified man on a white and gold bicycle taking Max away.

Police described the suspect as an adult male wearing a dark baseball cap, blue jeans, dark hooded sweatshirt, blue rubber gloves, and dark shoes.

Max’s owner is an ER nurse that has been working with patients with coronavirus, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Concord Police Department posted more photos of the suspect holding the puppy while taking him away from the nurse’s home.

Police said: “Here are some clearer still images of the DOGNAPPER. We’re hoping something helps someone recognize this man. If so, please contact Concord PD’s Financial Crimes Unit at (925) 671-3030 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can call our tip line at (925) 603-5836. ~454.”

One Facebook user commented: “This makes me so very very mad! I hope this bottom feeder is found. Someone has to know him, someone has to see him with a puppy! I pray they are found. Sharing.”

Another wrote: “That guy would be so sorry even if my soul had to burn in hell for eternity.”
