Even among the criminals, there are those who scoop below others in terms of the nature of their crime.
A man who has been identified as Nicholas Citron is one of those scums. Citron is on Long Island police authorities’ most wanted list for stealing two puppies from a store.
According to the Suffolk County police, Citron used a fake ID to open a nonexistent credit identity. Using this fake credit from a fake id, the 22 year old then paid for two expensive dogs from Canine Corral in New York City. All this took place in October of last year.
The puppies who have been adopted by this crook were two adorable Yorkshire terriers. It has been reported that the two puppies cost about $4,500 in terms of costs, which is of course not the most important factor when considering the safety of the puppies.
Almost as soon as Citron left the shop, the employees found out that the credit line that the culprit has used was unusable. The above picture was taken inside the shop, moments before he left the shop with the two puppies.
Officials announced that the 22 year old is wanted for third-degree grand larceny. In layman’s terms, it means that he is wanted for stealing private property. According to the current laws of New York state and the Federal government, dogs are considered properties of the store.
Moreover, Citron is wanted for violating probation rules as well. It turns out that the crook was already out on probation for thievery, which means that there is a possibility that he is wandering around the streets looking for the next target to steal.
Needless to say, he is also wanted for forging his identity, which he then used to create a false credit line to purchase the puppies. Those two crimes are to the second degree.
Citron has been described as a 22 year old male who is around 5 feet 4, and weighs around 175 pounds. His face can be seen in the image that we have attached above.
Police authorities, along with the most wanted list, suspects that the crook resides in New York City or its surrounding counties such as Nassau County.
