A woman was arrested immediately after telling a police officer that a thief stole her diamond ring.
Welcome back to our page and yet another baffling puzzle that has been leaving people scratching their heads. In today’s challenge, you will be asked to solve a mystery by taking a close look at the crime scene below.

As the story says, the woman in the picture called the police after her diamond ring went missing. Once the cops arrived at her home, the lady told them that a thief broke her window before grabbing her prestigious ring and running off.
Immediately after hearing her story, the police officers arrested the woman. Can you figure out why?
As it happens, the woman was lying to the police and they weren’t happy about it. To solve the mystery, take a closer look at the picture at the top of this post.
In the image, one can see the hidden clue that the cops noticed after arriving at the home. This, together with the lady’s story, was enough for the officers to arrest the woman and take her to the station for questioning.
Still not sure why? If you look closely at the picture, you will see that the window was broken from the inside because all of the glass shards can be found on the window ledge outside. If the window was really broken from the outside as the lady said, the glass shards would be on the window sill inside the home.
