QAnon conspiracy theorist suggests that Gabby Petito is a crisis actress to distract people from President Joe Biden’s “failures.

Gabby Petito, 22, a life-blogger, has been reported missing on September 11 after a cross-country road trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie. The disappearance of the influencer has prompted a nationwide search after communication with Gabby had suddenly stopped.
Earlier this week, police ruled her death a homicide after her body was found in a remote area of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming on September 19. Her fiancé and travel partner, Brian, has disappeared and been declared a person of interest in the case.
However, within an hour of the news breaking that a body fitting Gabby’s description was found at a remote campsite near the Grand Teton National Park, QAnon Telegram groups have developed their version of events.
QAnon is a disproven far-right conspiracy theory alleging that a cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles operate a global child s*x trafficking ring and conspired against former President Donald Trump during his term in office. QAnon has been described as a cult.
QAnon supporters have accused many Hollywood actors, Democratic politicians, and high-ranking government officials of being members of the cabal, without providing evidence.
An insider saw multiple posts spring up on the QAnon-focused Telegram channels GhostEzra, which has more than 330,000 subscribers, and WeTheMedia, which has more than 246,000 subscribers, where comment threads spiraled into lengthy discussions about the blogger’s case.
“Somethings not right about this whole situation… this is clearly Black Ops to cover for Biden failures,” they commented. “Was he ever real? Is SHE? Another false flag right before the audits.”
Others believed their names were fake. In a desperate attempt to reach, they concluded that her fiance’s name deconstructed to “brainwash”.
“Brian Laundrie? Brian = Brain. Laundrie = Laundry = Wash,” they wrote. “BRAINWASH is what his name means. Definitely an operation”.
“This whole case was nothing but an FBI distraction, literally on every news channel,” wrote another Telegram user.
“This story is odd, it’s too big mainstream for a white girl,” someone wrote. “I’m just being honest (mainstream media) don’t play the victim game with Caucasians.”
Other Telegram users also tried to draw links between Petito, Laundrie, and common QAnon conspiracies about cabals of pedophiles who run the “deep state.”
The 22-year-old’s disappearance triggered a nationwide search and even saw protesters gathering outside Brian’s home chanting “Where’s Gabby?”.
On September 22, the medical examiner determined Gabby’s manner of death as a homicide. Additionally, Brian is still missing after telling his family he was going on a hike, but failing to return.
Authorities continue to search for Brian, who they believe is possibly hiding in a sprawling Florida nature reserve. He was last seen on September 17.
The QAnon conspiracy theory began with an October 2017 post on the anonymous imageboard website 4chan, by “Q” (or “QAnon”), who was presumably an American individual.
It is now possible that “Q” has become supported and or mirrored by a group of people acting under the same name who has a connection to Trump.
It still boasts a healthy presence on Telegram, with multiple channels run by QAnon influencers posting at least 50 times a day to some 400,000 followers.
