A Federal Judge has reportedly denied the request for the release of ‘QAnon Shaman’ from custody on Monday.
According to local media reports, Jacob Anthony Chansley who self describes himself as ‘QAnon Shaman’ was reportedly captured in both viral footages as well as images as he stormed through the US Capitol building in Washington DC on January 6th. He became notoriously famous after adorning a horned bearskin headdress alongside his famous face paint and unique attire.
After being jailed, the Pro-Trump activist gained plenty of attention from the media after he was caught making complaints about his jail meals, explaining how he would rather starve than be fed meals that were not vegan.
Only recently, a request was filed in the Federal Court regarding his release. However, Judge Royce Lambert explained how Chansley wouldn’t be free from custody anytime soon. As far as the reason is concerned, it was linked to how his case failed to present any form of new information that had some sort of material bearing.
In the same way, he spoke about how the conditions for his release would make sure that he does not flee.
Hence, Chansley is still behind bars and in custody.
Moreover, he will continue to remain there as awaits his high-profile trial that is based upon six different Federal charges that are concerned with insurrection, confirmed the judge recently.According to Judge Lambert, QAnon Shaman’s posed an imminent threat as he displayed the ability to travel across the nation, even without any job.
However, Chansley’s lawyer went on to argue how so many of his clients’ relatives were currently located in Phoenix, Arizona. And hence they would be able to provide a very extensive system of support for him, as mentioned in a recent report by The Arizona Republic.
