With dozens of countries put on a strict lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, some people are finding it hard to get by without their favorite snacks in stock.
To satisfy his cravings for Cheetos, Antonio Muñoz from Mexico had attached a note and a $20 bill to his tiny chihuahua’s collar before sending the pooch on a shopping run.
“Hello Mr. Shopkeeper. Please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they’re too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar,” the note read.
It also had the following warning attached: “She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbor.”
While it isn’t clear if Mr. Muñoz had previously done the same, it appears that his plan worked out perfectly as he shared pictures of his dog returning from the store in front of his home with a bag of Cheetos in its mouth.
In another unrelated coronavirus-inspired moment, one man from Cyprus has decided to continue providing his pooch with daily exercise by talking it out for a walk using a drone during the lockdown.
As seen in the video posted on Facebook and YouTube, Vakis Demetriou attached his dog’s tie to a remotely controlled drone before taking the pooch out for a walk.
As the dog was walking down the street, the drone was carefully hovering above it and leading it in the right direction thanks to Vakis who can see what’s going on via a drone camera.
At the end of the short video, the dog owner was seen standing on the porch with controls in his hands while his dog was walking down the street in the presence of the drone.
“5th day quarantine. Stay home safe but don’t forget your dog’s happiness,” Vakis captioned his video.
