Over a million people have been affected by the virus throughout the world.
More than 5,000 people have died due to the virus.
The virus affects the immune system directly and the people with weak immunity are not able to survive the sickness.
The vulnerable of the society and to this sickness are considered to be the senior citizens throughout the world.
Most of the countries have demanded the senior citizens to completely stay inside their house in quarantine.
Amid the risk, 93 years old Queen, who lives in Buckingham Palace with the royal family is getting into self-isolation.
She is going to base herself at Windsor Castle, away from the risk of this terrible sickness.
She is going to stay there beyond the Easter period.
The decision was taken after the government has issued its guidelines on the sickness.
The tea parties Queen hosts in the garden of Buckingham Palace has been canceled.
The Palace of Holyroodhouse garden party which is conducted in Edinburgh, in July is also under the radar of being canceled.
Queen is going to stay at her favorite residence with reduced caretakers and staff around for her safety.
Elizabeth II is the monarch with the nation’s longest-reigning. He is going to turn 94 next month as she celebrates her birthday.
The isolation comes in as the risk of death is on the old aged people and people with pre-existing health conditions more in comparison to others.
Following the outbreak, the St George’s Chapel’s Maundy Service has also been canceled.
Queen Elizabeth II is not the only royal affected by the advice. Prince of Wales is 71 years old, the Duchess of Cornwall is 72 old.
Queen’s cousins, the Duke of Gloucester is 75 years old, Princess Alexandra is 83, and the Duke of Kent is 84 years old and are all affected by the advice.
The Duke of Edinburgh who is 98 years old is already spending his time in Sandringham estate, Wood Farm.
