This is the moment when a tourist was shoved off the beaten path by one of the Queen’s Guards at the Windsor Castle.
The woman who accidentally crossed the rope barrier at the Windsor Castle screamed in shock when she was pushed from behind by a member of the Queen’s Guard, who was wearing his traditional bearskin hat.
The woman was not injured and managed to stay on her feet despite the aggressive incident which took place at the Queen’s residence.
The Queen’s Guard is protecting the official royal residencies for the past three centuries. They are known for their distinctive uniforms of bearskin hats and red tunics. The soldiers are selected from the five infantry regiments.
They are a part of tourist attraction in the UK and tourists like to get photographed with these soldiers. However, if someone hinders their march, the soldiers will shout ‘Make way for the Queen’s Guard.’
The Defense Ministry said that the Household Division is honored that people from around the globe watch their ceremonial spectacle and they are proud to guard the Queen.
It is clearly stated to stay behind the ropes. The ropes are there to protect the soldiers and the public. This is not the first time that such an incident took place, it has happened many times in the past as well.
