While enjoying a beach vacation in Thailand, Canadian model Meagan Penman discovered something that would break her heart – an abandoned, starving, and paralyzed puppy fighting to survive. Meagan would not leave Leo abandoned for a second time and promised she would get him home, no matter the obstacles.
Leo’s incredible story gained momentum, from local news to admiration in countries around the globe. He even got his very own Facebook page! Leo’s perseverance melted the hearts of people worldwide and in just two months, over $2000 was raised! Leo was on his way to a new life in Canada.
