LGBT Supporter Painted His House In Rainbow Colors To Get Revenge At Nearby Church

The Westboro Baptist Church is infamous for its hate speech against minorities such as LGBT communities, Jews, and Muslims.

They even spew hateful rhetoric against Christians; they simply dislike anyone who is not like them. Some of the members even gone as far as to picket at the funerals of soldiers.

In 2013, Aaron Jackson, a passionate advocate of equal rights for all, was determined to do something. He, a co-founder of Planting Peace, an organization that supports rainforest conservation and orphanage, bought and remodeled the house RIGHT ACROSS the street to the Westboro Baptist Church to support minorities.

When he heard that the house right across from the Westboro Baptist Church headquarters was for sale for $81,000, his organization immediately took the opportunity to buy it.

As controversial as his project to paint the house in a rainbow pattern, Jackson couldn’t find anyone to help paint the house.

That’s when a military veteran stepped in and helped him painting. The veteran interviewed with the Topeka Capitol-Journal,

“I don’t like them (Westboro Baptist Church) messing with veterans.”

Jackson appropriately named the property, “Equality House.” People would stop by the house to take pictures and support LGBT community and other minorities.

Even now, the color of diversity can be seen from the Westboro Baptist Church windows!
