Among the 34 best known and most popular marine mammals, the bottlenose is one.
The mammal is sociable, intelligent, and very popular as they were featured in a show back in the 60s called Flipper.
These dolphins have a great capacity of adaptability as they can live in warm water or water with a little temperature as well.
The mammal is adorable and loves to be around humans but humans are not kind enough and have been exploiting them and killing them for a long time.
Now to protect the beautiful and friendly creatures, their hunting has been strictly prohibited by the government.
This is why when the news of a pink dolphin came out; people could not stop themselves from taking a look at the rare beautiful creature.
We are worried about the world and its changes that are only harming lives and killing and wiping out more and more species each day but this looks like a bloom as the rare pink dolphin was able to give birth to an offspring this means there can be a new species entirely.
Captain Erik Reu was out on Calcasieu River in Louisiana in 2007. It was a regular day with the water flowing and the world living with the pace it lives. That is when something unusual appeared.
When he took a proper look at it, he saw that it was a bottlenose dolphin in pink color. He said that the dolphin did not look sick at all and over the years he has been able to spot the dolphin multiple times.
So far, science has no answer to why the dolphins have the color that so unusual. Some believe it is a sexual disorder and other believes it is a deficiency that has caused this pigment difference.
