Famous French luxury goods label Hermes has recently introduced an innovatively exciting new bag line and consumers can’t keep calm.
Yes, the designer house has recently launched its famous Birkin bag range with a twist. The bags are really made from real vegetables and the news sets the fashion world in awe.
Think along the lines of materials that include asparagus, cucumber, cabbage, and more, as images of the collection started going viral on social media after its release.
The brand released the news on its official Instagram account with plenty of images to make users anticipate the launch.
Meanwhile, the images were all supported with a caption that included, “Enjoy the detour ahead as Classic Hermes Birkin Bags inspire the world of art that’s good enough to eat.”
This post was unveiled by the brand’s star artist, Ben Denzer who is not only responsible for the unique series but is also someone who left very little to people’s imagination too.
Through his own personal account on Instagram, Denzer released images of the handbag’s production process. But wait, the shocking news doesn’t stop there. The range also entailed pieces that were designed using fruits such as bananas as well as apples too.
But why is a question on so many die-hard Birkin bag fans’ minds. Why would anyone even think about purchasing a handbag that is exclusively designed using food?
Well, it appears that the pandemic may be one of the many reasons why. Yes, ever since the pandemic has ensued, plenty of fashion brands have gone about focusing on items that revolve around the theory of sustainable fashion.
As it is, Hermes is world-famous for its top-class design and exclusively tailored pieces. People from all around the globe purchase it and that’s why it certainly wouldn’t be shocking to see more and more consumers buy the new food-themed Birkin line as well!
But are they really meant for eating? We certainly don’t think so because we highly doubt they have the capability to hold any luggage too!
