A mother was recently criticized for refusing a bully’s entry into her son’s birthday party, where all members of the class were invited but him.
Speaking to Reddit viewers online, the mother was quick to mention how she received a bucketload of harsh criticism from other parents who felt that she was being overly sensitive about the whole matter. In the same way, others felt that she overreacted and since the whole class was invited, she should have held her peace and allowed the child to enter when he showed up with a gift.
While it’s known that birthday parties can be a bucketload of fun, they’re equally stressful too. And for this mother, things quickly took a political turn for the worst as she began to receive so much abuse for her actions.
Now, the mom is putting her story out in the open and asking random online viewers who don’t know her personally to come forward and give their opinions on the matter.
The baffled mom first shed light upon how her little son turned eight and she wanted to make sure he had a wonderful celebration. On that note, she invited his whole class over to the residence for celebrating. But there was one person who was excluded from the list and that was a boy named Josh.
Although innocent at first glance, Josh was an actual bully who had been troubling her son for quite some time now. For that reason, she intentionally chose to exclude him from the list of invites. But little did she know, he arrived at her doorstep with a present.
The mother was definitely taken aback by what was going on. Why was he here as an uninvited guest?
Her son was also startled when Josh entered. Moreover, you could see the fear in the little eight-year-old boy’s eyes. But his mom was not going to let that happen today, especially since it was her son’s birthday.
She refused Josh’s entry and asked him to leave immediately. But now, she feels guilty after receiving verbal abuse from other parents who claim she’s so insensitive.
