Australian reporter Brittney Kleyn was preparing to go live when an unexpected thing happened that left her shocked.
A friendly parrot landed on her shoulder when Brittney was delivering a big report while standing in front of the camera.
She was left surprised and shocked. For a moment, she tried not to panic.
But, after a few minutes, she freaked out.
Later, the parrot’s owner Michelle Mills said that her parrot named Lola had gone missing and she started getting calls from friends that they’d seen Lola on the news.
Lola was then reunited with her owner, Michelle Mills. Australian reporter Brittney Kleyn also met Lola and laughed out loud after recalling the moment when the parrot had landed on her shoulder.
Brittney Kleyn shared a picture of her with the parrot on Twitter with the caption: ‘LOLA’S BACK! So happy @9NewsAUS could help reunite this missing parrot with such a loving family’.
The hilarious video of Kleyn freaking out when Lola landed on her shoulder was shared online, leaving everyone in stitches.
One user commented on the video: ‘I would have just let the bird chill on my shoulder the whole broadcast’ while another added: ‘That’s so funny I love it’.
The third one wrote: ‘I mean i live in Berlin, we have many crows here if one would land in me, i would get scared too. I think she didn’t saw right, what landed on her, also the claws really hurt on the skin, so i basically can understand her reaction, it was basically instinctive.’
One joked: ‘Network Nine should give Lola Brittany’s job’ while another added: ‘Love her but her reaction was hilarious!’
Well, the video is hilarious! We understand why she got scared but Kleyn and Lola are now friends.
Even Kleyn laughs now at how she reacted when Lola landed on her shoulder.
