Just imagine if you had to live your life in a street or slum through all seasons.

You end up having no knowledge of the human race apart of the times when they show you sympathy and throw you a bit of food.

However a majority of the time, you will be on your own. After living half of your life in turmoil, an angel comes into your life, scoops you up from the dirt and gives you a new life.

But you don’t know who that angel is and how to recognize her love. You are taken to a place where someone is poking you with needles, sticking a probe to your ass, taking blood, removing testicles, and giving pills that are not working for your stomach.

After that, you are picked up in a van and transported to a home where an enthralled human is waiting for you with sheer love and compassion.

Life does look better, but you have no idea what is going on.

Well, this has been the life story of one of the pups from Dogs Deserve Better Good Newz Rehab Center located in Smithfield, VA.

It is not often when you get to see what happens behind the scenes after dogs are adopted by Bernard shared her special moment with us.

The dog was scared and kept hiding behind the crate. But Bernard patiently inched forward and began to slowly caress the pup. Eventually, the dog sat at the bottom of the crate where he spends the next 45 minutes.

She turns on the camera and recorded this beautiful moment where the rescue dog’s first recovery process began. Her goals are to make the pup more accustomed to the human touch and be freer.
