A dog owner has dialed 911 and asked the dispatcher for help after her pooch got sucked up by a robot vacuum cleaner.
As Megan Dunavant revealed, she panicked after her Bobsweep got ahold of her Shih Tzu’s tail and kept on sucking the dog in.
According to Megan, her dog Stonewall was trying its best to escape the vacuum cleaner by “alligator rolling trying to get loose and freaking out.”
Fortunately, the issue was resolved after two officers arrived at the scene and helped the mum free Stonewall from the robot cleaner. The pooch was uninjured during the incident.
“I’m all alone. This is awful. This is like something out of a movie. You can’t make this up. I called 911 because I figured somebody’s gotta be able to help me,” Megan said in an interview with KSDK.
As she added, Stonewall’s tail got sucked in by the vacuum cleaner because the dog refuses to move no matter what comes his way.
“I don’t want to have to call 911 again to get him out of the vacuum cleaner,” Megan said, insisting she’ll put her dog in a kennel next time she cleans her home.
After the officers arrived at her home, they managed to set the dog free. Besides losing some hair, Stonewall was left uninjured by the incident.
“This is a first for that. Everyday life throws some wild wrenches at people,” Officer Scott Stephens of Ballwin Police said of the unusual call for help.
