The most popular dogs in so many countries around the world are the Labradors and Golden Retrievers and it’s easy to find why.
They are heaps of fun, people-oriented, respectful but adventurous, and have a sharp intellect that still shines through beneath their hilariously silly personality.
They originated in Newfoundland, where they were bred for the first time to help fishermen and hunters recover their nets and catch.
Labradors are now commonly used for the disabled as guide-dogs and comfort animals. Golden Retrievers, with slight differences between British, American and Canadian types, are very similar to Labs.
They are all dogs with high energy so they need a lot of exercises! Nevertheless, they do enjoy a cuddle and are always desperate to please their friends. So we love them so much for that!
