In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, we have been advised to stay home to keep away from the virus.
The virus spreads through the air and can enter your body from your nose and mouth.
Social distancing is vital but sometimes we have to go out to get the essentials like groceries. While doing the same, the authorities have strictly advised people to use a mask when going out. Covering your mouth and nose can save you from the virus and so it becomes vital.
Now there are several masks that are only fit to be used once but here we have a hack that can help you reuse the mask and reduce waste.
When you get back home after your trip to the market, take off your mask, and put it in the washing machine. The water does not have to be hot but make sure to put in the detergent that you use to clean clothes.
Do not worry if you do not have a washing machine. You can wash the mask with your hands but keep washing it for at least 2 to 3 minutes.
You can also take off your mask and put it inside a paper bag. Then just place the bag in a warm place and leave it sitting there for 2 days to let the germs die. After that, thoroughly wash your hands and do not touch the bag for two days.

The main reason to wear a mask is not just to save yourself but to spread the virus to others. You may think you don’t have it but you can have it. The virus shows no symptoms at all for days.
Do not trust homemade masks. Homemade masks do not work needful as they have spaces in between that allow the droplets to get to your nose and mouth. You would never want that to happen. This is why make sure you use a medical mask only.
