A group of 10 people consisting of 10 – 3 billionaires, 3 young women as”escorts” and rest of them staffs, were flying from UK to quarantined Southern France, for a visit to Alang Alang, one of the most luxurious villas in the French Riviera.
However, they were immediately blocked by the French authorities and were either returned or flown elsewhere.
Source from within the plane has cried foul play and said that the French police were being ‘very stupid’ about the whole matter.
Through an interview with the “they were not holidaymakers but three billionaires on their way to the cliffside villa to complete a business deal that would have created over 900 jobs.”
He claimed the other members of the involved party were merely “bodyguards, a secretary and translators.”
Currently, under lockdown measures imposed by the French authorities, the nation forbids any trips besides those of the most important and essential matters at hand. It seems, on this particular case, the French authorities did find something not fitting to the regulations and has sustained corresponding measures.
The property they were to spend their days, Alang Alang, is one of the most expensive and famous property in the French Riviera. Their own description reads:
“The house is owned by a British property developer who bought the original plot from disgraced arms dealer Adam Khashoggi. He knocked down the original house and built the new villa which is available to rent.”
“Impeccably designed and decorated, the villa is the ultimate setting for an unforgettable holiday in the French Riviera’s most glamorous resort.”
“As you walk into the main house you’ll be welcomed to your home away from home by a spectacular living wall with a tropical water feature, which sets the tone for the rest of your stay.”
“Relax by the magnificent outdoor infinity pool and jacuzzi, enjoy an after-dinner cigar in the custom-built wine cellar, or simply sit back and enjoy the panoramic sea views from one of the villa’s multiple terraces, a stay at the Villa Alang Alang is a truly unique holiday experience.”
It seems the whole setting and the purpose of the trip was rather obviously not essential to national interest. Some members were identified as foreign nationals based in UK.
One particular Croatian who has reportedly ‘paid for everything’ wanted the trip to not go awry so much that he said to the police at the airport: ‘I have money, let’s talk’ when they confronted him on the plane.
‘He was looking forward to the break, with his friends and young female escorts,’ said a member from the French police.
‘But it was obviously a recreational trip, and under the containment measures these are strictly prohibited.’
On the fair side, the flight had been documented through a private jet company, but it seems they were unaware that the measures will be a direct contradiction to what they were intending to do over at the luxury estate.
