Coronavirus-spread world has prompted people to remain isolated in their homes, work from home, and step out of their houses only when it is necessary.
This means that there is very less source of entertainment for them which ultimately narrows down to the internet, television, books, and mobile phones.
To lift up the spirits of people during social isolation, Ricky Gervais has decided to share live video each day.
The actor and comedian announced in an Instagram live to his followers and fans that he wanted to do something for those stuck at home, isolating themselves, and all that.
He admitted that doing so could be depressed and this is why he wanted to boost the morale of the people and that is exactly his job.
He further said that he did know-how in the first place and as people kept asking him to bring Afterlife forward, he decided to become their granddad on Skype.
He added that it was not up to him and they still had to translate After Life into different languages but he tried.
He committed to doing that once every day. He shared the clip on Twitter and received more than 28,000 likes on it.
He shared on Twitter with the clip that he did something with Instagram Live, and although he was old and drunk, he was able to get it to work.
He added that he would do it every day if people enjoyed and referred to his fans as lovely individuals stuck at home.
He ended his tweet by asking everyone to stay safe and look forward to better and brighter days. His tweet grabbed a lot of attention and several people appreciated his decision and praised him for his comic sense.
