Robert Irwin, the son of the legendary zookeeper and TV personality Steve Irwin, said he was honored when his sister Bindi asked him to walk her down the aisle when she gets married.
As Robert claimed, he will gladly take over the role of his father when Bindi ties the knot with Chandler Powell whom she knows for over six years.
According to Bindi’s previous statement, the wedding will take place at Australia Zoo, whereas koalas will play a major role in the wedding.
Bindi has also revealed she asked her 15-year-old brother to walk her down the aisle since her father won’t be there to do it.

I’m always so grateful that Robert is there, and he has been such a big part of my life and he’s always stepped up and been the one to give me a hug when I need it and encourage me forward in life,” she said in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.point 220 | 1
“So he will definitely be the one to walk me down the aisle when the time comes, and I think that will make it really special.”
As for Robert, he appears just as excited for the wedding as the couple.
“Oh, I was just so so stoked. I was so excited and really honored for her to ask me to walk her down the aisle,” he told PEOPLE.
“I think it’s going to be such a wonderful day, such a great celebration. Chandler is absolutely perfect. I can’t fault him, he’s awesome.”
