The Williams family has recently welcomed a new member.
The eldest son of late actor Robin Williams welcomed his first child on 22nd May and decided to honor his father in a remarkable way.
Zak Williams and his fiancé Olivia June have named their infant boy McLaurin Clement Williams. The Jumanji actor, who committed suicide at the age of sixty-three, used to write McLaurin as his middle name.
The couple did not reveal the news of the birth of their child until a month and announced his arrival prior to Father’s Day. June along with Robin Williams’ daughter Zelda Williams introduced late actor’s grandchild to the world by posting adorable photographs of the newborn on social media.
A representative for the family told that it was the newborn’s aunt Zelda who took the photographs of the young one.
The baby boy had weighed 8lbs and measured 20 and a half inches at birth. He came into the world after almost five years of the late actor’s death.
McLaurin’s are excited over the birth of a healthy child and have decided to call him Mickey lovingly.
Thirty-six-year-old Zak is an angel investor, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate, while June is the CEO of a women-centric community application called Hey! VINA.
June shared a picture of Mickey on Instagram and wrote that she and Zak are were extremely happy to welcome baby McLaurin on 22nd May to the world.
She wrote that they are extremely thrilled that Mickey chose them as his family, and obviously think that he is the best, cutest and the smartest baby boy ever.
She added that the couple decided to keep the news private due to many reasons, one of them being her appreciation of living an offline like and focusing on life away from social media.
