In the emotional post, Zak also shared a picture of his dad in which the late legend is seen gazing into the distance.

The tribute follows shortly after the young man opened up about the condition his father had been suffering prior to his suicide in August 2014.

“What I saw was frustration. What he was going through didn’t match one to one [with what] many Parkinson’s patients experience. So, I think that was hard for him,” Zak said.

“There was a focus issue that frustrated him, there were issues associated with how he felt and also from a neurological perspective he didn’t feel great. He was very uncomfortable.”

The grieving son went on to question the medication his father was given as he wondered if it might have contributed to his deterioration.

“Those drugs are no joke. They’re also really hard on the mind and the body,” the 38-year-old said.

“I couldn’t help but feel beyond empathy. I couldn’t help but feel frustrated for him. It can be really isolating even when you’re with family and loved ones.”
