One citizen has said in her interview that: ‘she and her family had travelled to the city for the Lunar New Year holiday and became stuck there.’
A migrant worker from Guangdong Province proclaimed to the media happily that she’s going back as soon as she can to her hometown of Xiangyang city. ‘I’m very happy, I’m going home today. My mood will be better but when I get back I still won’t go out too much.’ she told Reuters inside Wuhan’s Hankou railway station.’
Meanwhile, across the South China Sea, Hong Kong authorities have claimed on Wednesday that social distancing and a near martial law imposing a ban on public gatherings over four people in a public gathering has been extended to 23 April, as they are in deep and clearly hard efforts to battle the pandemic spread.
