For so many of us, speed is the most attractive and extravagant thing.
It’s the trigger to fun in life. Speeding cars are one of the ways to achieve that fun. Well, yes it definitely is super exciting but is it safe? Nope, it is not.
Driving over the control limit means driving rash which results in mishaps and severe accidents so many times. Despite that, people risk there and the safety of others for fun of a few minutes. But it looks like it won’t happen anymore.
Starting from 2022, all cars will come with a speed limit that will protect the cars from going too high on the speed bar.
Yes, you read this right. If you are in the EU this is probably good news. No rash drive means no accidents right? Well the EU will have all the cars fitted with some new safety measures. One of those features will be a speed controller that won’t allow the car to exceed a certain limit.
European Union has proposed to fit new safety features in all the cars starting from 2022. Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) system as is the device that I going to control the cars.
The system will be connected to the GPS of the vehicle and will set the limit of the speed the car should travel on according to the route. The car, in any case, will not be able to exceed that speed.
The proposal that was presented yesterday evening does not only demand a speed control but there are many other features of safety that is going to be installed.
The proposal asked but did not state it mandatory to re-run a crash test on cars. The cars will be installed with sensors for cyclists and pedestrian to save from minor accidents as well.
The sensor will also help in keeping the cars in line. I guess a sense full traffic and no cars on the pedestrians is a good plan to work on right?
