We all know as a matter of fact that nothing can make someone gay or straight, except for God, who has created us all.
But in a bizarre case, a Russian man is claiming that an iOS app turned him gay causing him moral harm.
The man who is making the claim of turning gay due to an app on the Apple device has filed his case in the Moscow court. The man has asked for compensation of one million rubles (£12,400), as per the complaint received by AFP.
The man whose identity has not been revealed here said that he bought a cryptocurrency on an app on his Apple device and he was given a coin called GayCoin in place of the Bitcoin he had ordered on the app.
Sapizhat Gusnieva, the lawyer of the unnamed man said that he has suffered and he is scared and this is a serious matter.
The GayCoin the man received came in with a note saying do not judge until you try. So the man decided just to do the same.
He says that he tried to get into a same-sex relationship and although he knows nothing can turn a person gay or straight, he says that he was prompted by the app to do it and now he has turned gay.
He says that he is in love with his boyfriend and it is all right but he just cannot open up to his parents and his life has turned upside down.
He says that it was because of the app that he tried to take the way and now he cannot go back to being normal.
Unfortunately, homosexuality is still a huge taboo in Russia and the LGBT community is not appreciated for coming out of their shell and face the world. They are ill-treated in the nation even in 2019.
