Sajid Javid Took a Pledge to Raise National Living Income to £10.50 In The Next 5 Years


Sajiv Javid took a pledge and said that he is going to work in order to raise the minimum Living Wage to £10.

50 in the next five years, till 2024 as he says that the next generation can become the go and getters to whatever they wish to do.

He believes this step is only going to help the achievers of the next generation in accomplishing their goals.

Currently, the rate of the National Living Wage is £8.21 for people over 25 years of age.

At the Tory Party Conference held in Manchester, Javid said: “I am working on this. I want to set a new amount for the National Living Wage because it is important to raise it to match double of the medium earnings an average person makes.

As per the amount is, for now, the forecast says that the amount will rise to £10.50.

The National Living Wage is only supposed to be received by workers who are 25 or above and working while the workers below 24 will receive National Minimum Wage.

Sajid said that the rise in the Wage will give people a fair amount of money for all the hardship they do which will also improve their lifestyle.

At the conference, he also talks about how he wishes to bring a revolution to the infrastructure.

He says that the Wage is not the only thing he is going to work on as he is working to get better infrastructure, better connectivity in public vehicles, better education and everything else in his power to make the UK a better a country and the best place to live in for the citizens.

While the politician has claimed to work on all the aspects, only time can tell how much success he achieves in the same.
