There are a few guidelines that are prepared and are implemented by the board of supervisors on language.
The person who is convinced and has been released from the jail after completing the jail term will be called as the former incarcerated person or the justice involved person or the returning accident person.

The people completing the criminal probation are called as “person on parade” or the person under supervision.
The juvenile will be called as the young person who is involved in the justice system or the young person who is impacted by the juvenile justice system.
The people who are prone to drug addiction are called as a person with the history of substance usage.
Sandra Lee Fewer who is the supervisor who has come up with these guidelines. Another supervisor named, Matt Haney stated that they do not want the miscreants to be named as miscreants even after their jail term for doing wrong.
They want the criminals to lead a respectful life and contribute to the welfare of the society.
The criminals are called as felonies, which is the scarlet letter that would not go away from them. These are the words used to segregate these people from the rest of the society and to make them appear to be normal.
