Sandra Bullock, 55, introduced her 8-year-old daughter, Laila, to the world during a surprise appearance on Red Table Talk.
They also gave thanks to healthcare workers fighting coronavirus.
The actress became emotional as she told a nurse named April how thankful she was for her hard work before saying someone wanted to say something.
“I have someone here that wants to say something to April,” Bullock told the nurse. 8-year-old Laila then appeared on screen and sat next to her mother in their kitchen.
“Thank you April for doing everything, for everyone,” the little girl expressed. “Stay safe,” she added before her mother said of the adorable girl: “She’s the one that’s going to save the world in our family!”
The episode focused on for mothers on the frontline doing their best to fight coronavirus amid the coronavirus pandemic, with Willow Smith, mother Jada Pinkett Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris, getting teary as they listen to the stories of bravery.
Sandra’s surprise appearance came after she donated 6,000 N95 masks to a hospital in Los Angeles.
“We put masks on the kids and rolled down there and deposited, so they could see first hand the first responders and see how hard it is right now,” the actress said.
In April, her partner, 54-year-old Bryan Randall, posted a photo of Bullock organizing the drop-off at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and also credited her kids for coming up with the idea.
“Kids wanted to give masks. 6000 of them went to the warriors on the front lines in downtown LA,” Randall wrote on social media.
“Thank you Olivia at #adventistwhitememorial. Thank you Ricardo at #childrenshospitallosangeles… Louis and Lailas note could not have said it better.”
