A scaffolder from Crawley saved two canine pups stuck inside a hot car before berating the owner for leaving her dogs inside the car during the deadly 33°C heatwave.
Danny Cruttwell saw a woman leaving her two dogs inside her car at Tesco Extra’s car park in Broadbridge Heath in Horsham, Sussex.
Danny then recorded entire encounter as he freed the dogs before confronting the owner when she returned. Danny said that as per the temperature he noted from his car was around 33°C.
He posted the video to his Facebook page that so far has attracted more than a million views.
The video begins with Danny approaching the car to rescue the two pups. It wasn’t clear for how long the dogs had been stuck inside the car. He let the dogs out and offers them some water to drink.
The woman claims that she had been gone only for a few seconds. But Danny’s video shows three minutes have been passed without the owner coming into the play.
Danny tells the woman that she can’t leave her dogs like this they could die. Danny is seen petting the dogs while he gave them some water to drink.
The unprecedented heatwave has hospitalized more than 30,000 individuals across the globe killing more than 65. Animals too have suffered, with several dead and many hospitalized.
The authorities have issued a warning not to lock your pets inside the car while you are away, it could be lethal for them.
