Scarlett Johansson, 36, is confirmed to be pregnant with her first child with husband Colin Jost, 39.
According to a report from Page Six, the Marvel actress is expecting her second child, while it will be the first for the Saturday Night Live comedian.
“Scarlett is actually due soon, I know she and Colin are thrilled,” a source for Page Six has said.
Meanwhile, another insider told the publication that Johansson has been keeping her pregnancy a secret.
“[She] has been keeping it very quiet,” the insider said. “She has been keeping a very low profile.”
The pregnancy rumors come after the 36-year-old actress missed out on several events for her upcoming Marvel movie titled Black Widow, where she plays the role of Natasha Romanoff, a trained assassin.
Despite being expected to promote the anticipated Marvel movie, Johansson hasn’t been seen doing interviews.
“She hasn’t been doing many interviews or events to promote Black Widow which is surprising since it is a huge Marvel/Disney release and she is both the star and an executive producer,” the source explained.
The actress also appeared for some promotional virtual interviews including her appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on June 21, in which Johansson was shown from the shoulders up via Zoom.
Johansson was also missing from several Black Widow-related events including a world premiere fan event attended by co-star David Harbour in New York City last week.
There was also a Black Widow screening in the Hamptons where Johansson and Jost are often seen out and about.
“Scarlett usually spends a lot of the summer out in Amagansett and Montauk, and you’d often see her walking her dogs on the beach or getting coffee,” a Hamptons source for the publication said. “But this summer it seems like she is deliberately trying to keep a low profile.”
The actress has already one daughter named Rose Dorothy Dauriac, 6, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac, a French journalist, whom she was previously married to from 2014 to 2017.
