A female school bus driver was caught on camera telling kids to “go f*ck” themselves minutes before parking the vehicle at a bus station and walking away.
While there are probably many bus drivers that wish to just walk away when passengers get rowdy and noisy, Lori Ann Mankos from Pennsylvania, US, actually went through with her plan.
According to the pupils who were on the bus, the 44-year-old driver seemed to be “agitated” as soon as they entered the vehicle.
As the kids went on to joke about her driving, Lori went berserk and began dangerously swerving through the streets.
“When there was a turn, a right-hand turn and when she took it she was going far too fast. She ended up being halfway into the opposing lane of traffic. That was probably the scariest point in the ride. At that point my heart was racing,” Mason Persiani, one of the children who experienced the incident, said in an interview with WFMZ.
“She ended up telling us to… go f**k ourselves and flipped us off. You know, stuck her hand in the air and flipped us off.”
After the students asked her to pull over, Lori obliged and parked the bus at a petrol station in Bath. She then locked the bus, handed over the keys to a petrol station worker, and took off while the confused pupils were wondering what to do next.
The kids then abandoned the vehicle through an emergency door and waited for another school bus to pick them up.
“Nothing like this has ever happened before in my 28 years with the district. We’re extremely upset by this, but very thankful that none of the students were hurt,” Joseph Kovalchik of the Northampton School District said.
Later on, Mankos was arrested at her home and charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence, and dozens of counts of endangering the welfare of children.
